Day 10-11: Last Days

It's our last day...saaaaaad....
We packed up our stuff, helped clean the townhouse, loaded up the van and off we went.  We stopped downtown in Miraflores to explore the cat park and the Incan market and pick up some last minute goodies. We had lunch at a Peruvian favorite, Papacho's....super delicious burgers and awesome desserts.
We headed up to Las Lomas next for the end of Awana - they have this every Saturday for the kids. Then at 7:30 is Youth Group where a lot of soccer boys come (it's part of their contract to play soccer) but also a lot of youth from the community come too.  The pastor is new this year and he was fantastic - they girls commented on how they could understand him fairly easily.  We sadly then had to say good-bye to all the kids and people we've worked with, played with, spent time with over these past 10 days.  We have enjoyed our time in this beautiful community and wish we could have stayed longer.  Thank you, Voices4Peru, for hosting us, protecting us, laughing with us, and for everything you did for us!  We are truly grateful for this experience!!!
