Day 9: Stirling

We toured Stirling Castle today. An impressive fortress high up overlooking the valley around the River Firth. We had plenty of time to wander all over the castle and grab lunch. We drove thru the Trossachs Trail and made a stop at Loch Katrine for a stroll around the Loch.  We then stopped at the Woolen Mills for our last last Scotland souvenirs. Saw some Highland Coos/ Cows. Wow!! Back to Stirling City for dinner and then a pit stop at the grocery store before heading back to campus. Some hiked up to the William Wallace monument, others walked around campus and others repacked & sorted.
Tomorrow we start our trek to the south...and hopefully some warmer weather! Weird to believe we'll be home in a week...we still have LOTS to see & do!
The next round begins tomorrow!!
