Our first stop was Anne Hathaway's Cottage in Stratford and her beautiful gardens. Next we went into town and saw where she and Shakespeare are buried. We took a beautiful stroll along the River Avon and had some free time for lunch prior to our tour of Shakespeare's home and gardens. Thankfully we finally had beautiful weather...and the sun was out!!!
Our final stop was the beautiful town of Bath. Our hotel has an amazing location, just around the corner from the Abbey and the Bathes, which we will tour tomorrow. After dinner today, we did a ghost tour around Bath. Normally on our tours, we get a few hours here in Bath, so this is fantastic to have all this time. The ghost tour was fun as we went around town and learned all sorts of history and stories of olden day Bath.
Bath, Stonehenge, and finally LONDON tomorrow!
