Day 3: Bath, Stonehenge, and Wicked

We had a bit of a slower pace today as we headed out of London to the gorgeous town of Bath as well as Stonehenge.  Our fun of the morning was a car bumping the back of our bus…more fun with transportation.  The weather has been gorgeous and today was amazing a bit of a breeze, but sun and barely a cloud in the sky…yes, we’re in London!  I’m not making up this awesome weather!  The kids were just in awe over the English countryside – all the green fields, thatched roof cottages and stone houses.  They absolutely loved the town of Bath and were so intrigued by the Roman baths we toured.  We wish we could have spent an entire day in Bath…such a charming town.  We then headed to Stonehenge…literally in the middle of the Salisbury planes.  We received audio guides so were able to listen to some fascinating stories and history of the structure.
As it was a day on a bus, the kids (and adults) got some good sleep on the bus…catching up from yesterday.  We had some dinner and then tubed it over to the Apollo Victoria theater for Wicked.  Some had seen the musical before, some didn’t know the story at all, so needless to say, it was fun watching them all enjoy the performance.
All in all, another awesome day.  But we still have some big stuff to see tomorrow!  We are doing the Tower of London tomorrow as well as city tour… Look kids, Big Ben,  Parliament.  It will be our last day in London, so we will need to make the most of it…and do some souvenir shopping. :)

Until the next post…
