Today we acted like tourists and toured Lima with Daniel, Saúl & Tavo. We started in Plaza de San Marti, walked the pedestrian street to La Plaza de Armas & saw where the President lives. We then headed to the river and saw where Daniel & crew used to pass out bread & milk to the homeless kids. We headed over to the Cathedral and took a tour of the Catamcombs. Our last stop was the water park where we watched a water show to music, like the Bellagio in Vegas. It was pretty cool...and luckily not super cold.
Our day ended with Pizza Hut...such a sweet family moment around the dinner table.
Tomorrow we have a few more sites to see before we head to the airport for our overnight flight. Lots of emotions but they're all good ones!!
