Day 10 was our Dune Day!!! We slept in a bit, some got up early to see the sunrise, but it was a cloudy morning, so no real good sunrise pics. The rest of the group climbed the dune later that morning and had some fun! We got some shopping in around Huacachina after lunch, and then at 4:30, headed for the dunes. As the 28th was a National Holiday, some of the cops were blocking the entrance to the National Park and harassing the dune drivers for bribes to enter. So, instead of leaving from the hostel, we had to climb up the dunes to where they left the cars before starting the adventure! Kids had a blast! Enjoyed the whole experienced and were in awe about how much sand there really was. The night ended with a delicious BBQ and some fun games of UNO!
